  39. If you have the documentation - you can set jumpers (or dip switches
  40. or something) to disable the modem on the card, without disabling the
  41. sound capabilities. It sounds like you have the same type of card that
  42. I do - if you need more help let me know and I'll dig through the
  43. books a little to find the settings.
